Okay, so I'm looking to get a few new addons or replace existing addons with ones that do the job better (or just don't work the computer as hard to do the same job), just wondering if anyone can give suggestions.

Addons in my UI now:
-Deadly Boss Mods with Classic and BC data (A must have for any raider)
-Scrolling Combat Text (SCT)
-Scrolling Combat Text Damage (SCTD)
-Xperl unit frames (I've been using this since BC and I've found it easy to configure, originally got it because I thought the animated unit frames were cool, made it feel more like WarCraft III)
-Pallypower (A must have for every raiding Paladin)
-Icehud (I use it for the rangefinder and sunder armor stack counter)
-Dominos (Customizable action bars that are easy for me to configure, really made a difference on my UI when I got it.)
-OmniCC (Cooldown timers displayed over the buttons)
-Omen (threat meter)
-Recount (DPS meter)
-ForteXorcist (does a lot of things, tracks soulstones, rebirth, reincarnate, duration of various buffs, debuffs and I think that's only half of the stuff it does)

Addons that are in the UI but don't really affect raiding much:
-Gatherer (Gives me a good idea of what nodes are more likely to be found in what area)
-AtlasLoot Enhanced
-Rating Buster (provides a breakdown of what the stats on a particular piece of gear does)
-Epgp dkp reload (Guild requirement)
-Epgp lootmaster (Guild requirement)
-Epgp loot2 (guild requirement)
-Silverdragon (Rare spawn spotter)
-CAoV (Aspect of the Viper watcher addon I downloaded for my hunter alt I'm leveling, recently stopped working, might be out of date since the opening of the Plagueworks)

Limitations on addon choices:
-Standard keyboard, no special keys on the side.
-Standard 2-button and wheel optical mouse.
-I don't have a wide screen monitor (still using a CRT monitor) so I can't use any fancy addons that were made assuming the user had one.
-I don't want to download a full premade UI set because I want a UI I built from scratch so I know what each addon does and how it is configured so I can fix it or replace should it become problematic (like Parrot did, crashed my game any time I logged into a character and had to replace it with SCT and SCTD and I still don't have everything set up right.)
-I'm not touching HealBot because it sound like an addon for lazy people.

I'll try and get a screenshot of the UI next raid and post it here.

Don't know why, but this Magelo Signature isn't updating with my stats. Refer to Armory for actual stats (if I didn't log off in dps gear)

Ok I don't raid. Not in a raiding guild nor do I have time to raid. But the addons I use are:
carbonite- must have for leveling. Does it all
omen
recount
dbmods
decursive- great for pallies, mages and priest
bartender - customize bars and keybindings
omnicc - cooldowns
spellcraft- for my mage
enchantrix - Mage
adv trade skill - better window
auctioneer suite
bagnon
tankpoints.
May be a few more but use these the most

I’m not really a fan of decursive.  I prefer just having a command for healbot to take care of stuff like that.  It works fine for all my classes but the lock since you actually have to use the felpuppy to devour the magic, but a simple mouseover macro solved that problem right away.  Healbot is great for 5 mans and cleansing, and if you have the squares up during a raid, you can at least see who has aggro and pull off a quick righteous defense without ever losing your main target.

Most of the addons you listed are ones I use, refuse to use, or have another addon doing the same job.

Not a big fan of stuff like QuestHelper and Carbonite, lazy people addons. If I really have no clue where to go for a quest because the description is vague, I'll just minimize WoW and look it up on WoWhead or use the internal quest helper tool Blizzard added (still has a few glitches I noticed)

As for healbot, I use the Xperl raid frame and it highlights people who have debuffs I can cleanse. And again, lazy addon that does work for you.

Adv Trade Skill looks like one worth checking out, I looked at it before, but didn't get it for some reason.

There are a few addons I've seen and have been curious about:
I've seen addons that announce stuff like when Divine Protection or other defensive cooldowns go up and wear off, announces when taunt misses or fails for whatever reason.

I don't care for QuestHelper or Carbonite either.  However I LOVE LightHeaded.  It basically boils down the Wowhead quest comments into a pane that slides out the side of your quest log.  Combine LightHeaded with TomTom and you can basically look up a quest from within the game and click on coordinates in the comments to pop up a Waypoint arrow that points you in the right direction.  Good stuff without a ton of bloat.

The entire game is set up to be played without a single addon, so anything you use, despite how you may try and sell it is an attempt to make your job easier for any numebr of various reasons that if given the George Carlin filter, the answer would always end up at the same answer, laziness.

The only people allowed to call laziness on anyone using any addon should be reserved for those who play with stock UI only, and I'd bet there aren't that many of us, especially anyone who is involved enough in WoW to discuss topics in a forum format.

I agree with Robert. It's a game, and game experience is very personal. I believe that addons make game experience much more interesting, more tailored to personal taste.

I would just add some other funny addons to the list you already have written:
