I've been playing WoW using an old wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse for a very long time and I think it's finally time to replace them with something better.

They're so old that they're both PS/2 devices (not USB) and the mouse isn't even optical!

I like the freedom of wireless, but I'm thinking that going with a corded mouse and keyboard might be a little more responsive.

What are you using today?

What's good and bad about it?

If you could buy any mouse and keyboard for WoW (even if they're not made any more), what would you buy?

This is something I'm very interested in too, I've mainly been playing on my laptop with an old usb mouse, but now I got a keyboard + mouse as xmas gift and I get to go and buy what I want for myself. Of course it is not only for wow but I would like to get something that is useful for wow. I want wireless, and I think bluetooth (I guess that's what most wireless keyboards are running on) is responsive enough, and I want a mouse with more than a few bottons, I'm considering something logitech, I've always liked logitech stuff. I'll start looking around a bit tomorrow I think.

I don't think everything uses Bluetooth yet.  I think a lot of stuff still uses the old 27 MHz system or even 2.4 GHz wireless (non-Bluetooth).

Here's the Microsoft page on Bluetooth keyboards and mice with a little info on the various types of wireless...

I got this key board http://www.steelseries.com/us/products/keyboards/merc_stealth/information and am hoping to get this mouse http://campaign.steelseries.com/us/ not because it is the WoW mouse but because of the shape and how many side buttons it has. The key board I like because it more or less moves all of your number buttons right in front of the movement keys so you can have easy reach to what use to be the '=' button and that along with the mouse it would enable me to bind practically every spell that we as paladins have. (I have the key board but not the mouse as of now, hoping to remedy that today)

Just bought the MX revolution mouse, wireless but bluetooth, I love it. Together with MX5500 keyboard, nothing special about it but it is nice to have a real keyboard to play on for once.

Damn created like 25 new macros and rearranged my whole play style for the new mouse. Have mouseover macros for taunts with both Righteous Defense/Hand of Reckoning and Hand of Protection/Hand of Reckoning (friendly when mouseover friendly target and taunt when mouseover targets). I'm also doing my 96969 with the mouse now; I have two macros (my 9s CDs and my 6s CDs) that I kept on 1 and 2 before but now I have them on the mouse and have a lot more utility on the keyboard. I also added my Avenging Wrath and bubbles the the mouse (Divine Protection while in party and Divine Shield while solo).

Macro tips:
protection
/cast [nogroup, @player] Divine Shield; Divine Protection

taunt
/cast [@mouseover, exsists, help] Hand of Protection (or Righteous Defense); [@mouseover, exists, harm] Hand of Reckoning

999
/castsequence reset=9 Judgement of Light, Holy Shield, Concecration

66
/castsequence reset=6 Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of Righteousness

Ok, I just picked up a Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 last night at Best Buy, on sale for $39.99.

So far, I'm fairly impressed.  It's a nice product.

I'm thinking about getting a Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 to go with it.  I'm digging the backlit keys.

I would reccomend the Logitech LX7 mouse. Its the mouse that I have been using forever! It is not especially fancy (not too expensive). It has great responsiveness and especially great comfort for those long nights of gaming. Its wireless and the battery life is impressive. The thing I like most about this mouse is that I have dropped it almost a thousand times and it still works perfect. When you drop it, it will not fall apart and the batteries do not shoot out of it like other wireless mouses that I have used. For a keyboard, my friend uses a Nostromo (model number escapes me) but he does not stop talking about it. I would check this out and I know that many companies make things like this that are totally worth investing in for serious computer gaming. Hope this helps.

I got a belkin n52te for Xmas. Seems pretty sweet at the moment. Problem is I'm still a keyboard turner so 4 of my keys are in use for that.
